I've never seen a storm that caused so much devastation in a short period of time. The last time I remember a storm being this bad was about... several years ago where the flood waters reached halfway up the steps leading to my front door. The flooding was so bad the water reached the inside of my house... and my house is elevated about five feet from street level. So that put the water outside at five feet or six feet.

I was lucky to get home that morning. I left around 10:30 am to go to school for an event for my club but I couldn't even get to the overpass near Cash and Carry. I wasted maybe 30 min before I decided to turn back for the house. If I hadn't turned back then, doubtlessly I would have been stranded somewhere. By the time I came back, the water had risen to knee level (when I left the house, the water was at mid-calf).

However, my mom wasn't home and she was stuck at my aunts house in the Makati area. Anyway, my dad watched the water level and when it was obvious that it was going to penetrate our first floor, we moved the furniture and other things to the higher floors. Everything else was elevated so the water wouldn't ruin it. Trust me, it is hard clearing out the first floor of your house. Especially when the storage room is located there.

Even with what happened, my family was very lucky compared to others. My uncle and aunt had to leave their newly built house because the water level had risen to waist level inside. While they were crossing, the water level was up to their necks. My dad said one of my lolo's house was completely destroyed. My mom said her friends house was flooded to the second floor and another had to escape to a tree house to avoid the flood water. Heck, for a brief period, my batchmate was missing. I thank God that they found her safe and sound in a neighbors house.

There are stories like this everywhere and I think its best shown by the videos that people took. Especially the Ayala one. The underpass was completely submerged and for the first time Ayala was flooded.

Let's pray for all those who have lost and have died because of the storm. Also please keep an eye out because if I'm not mistaken, there are two more storms that are on its way. God bless.

Some pictures taken Sunday after the storm and worst of the flooding has gone:

<---- The water reached the roof at the height of the storm

This is all the stuff from the first floor

I took this from my front door. The water was so high it reached an inch in my first floor.

Heya, it's been a long time since I've updated but since I figure that I suddenly have a lot of time on my hands, I might as well do it.

Due to A(H1N1) or Swine Flu, our school has suspended classes for 13 days as is protocol if any confirmed case should appear in school. Sadly to say, there is a confirmed case and tada, we are all stuck at home. Not that its all fun and games of course. I still have homework to do and I have to worry about my application forms and stuff.

Last bit of news, my aunt is coming home this weekend for some reason or another but it's cool. It's just bad timing with the supposed typhoon and the rampant cases of Swine Flu. Ah well, I'm going to attempt to do my homework now. Wish me luck. And everyone take care!

Hey everyone, this is Kari. I'm in Anilao right now and since I have nothing t do, I thought that I should update my LJ.

I left at 7:30 this morning with my Dad and Tito Neil. Normally the trip would take... about 3 hours and 30 min but today it took us like 2 hours and 30 min. I don't really understand what happened but we got to the resort early because we missed our exit and ended up farther but somehow made the trip shorter. Whatever, I don't get it.

So, we got here at around... 11 or so and my tito said that we'd dive at 2 pm. I met a guy named Perry who is according to my tito, one of the best spotters. That means he's good at finding creatures underwater. You name it and he finds it. He's been here at the resort for three months accompanying various guests like scientists and whatnot. The other guest at the resort is an American freelance writer. He's from California and he's been her for about 2 weeks just going on dives and taking photos. His photos are really really nice which makes me envious of his strobe lights. One day I shall have one, err, two! :D

After we had lunch with the other guests, my uncle and I started preparing our gear. My dad stayed at the resort because he doesn't dive and he ad to drive us here and whatnot so -shrug- The first dive was all about getting reacquainted with diving and I have to admit it was tough. I had a hard time equalizing and it took me forever to get to the bottom. I wasted about 500 psi of air which is kinda bad considering that I have 3000 psi and I have to make it last to an hour.

So off we went and sadly for us, there were a lot of great would be photos that we could take but we didn't because we left the camera on the boat. Urgh, I could have had a great shot of a sting ray! D: I'm so mad at myself. So after seeing all the pretty things and remembering why I love them oh so much, we had to surface and rest to allow all the nitrogen in our bodies to dissolve etc etc. Good thing my dad bought a lot of snacks so we just ate and made kwento. The boatmen here are just awesome. They think of everything. :D They even change the tanks for the next dive unlike other places (other provinces etc etc) where you change it yourself.

We went to our next drop off point near some resort that was supposedly being used to shoot some sort of drama thing by GMA according to the boatmen. They said thats where they shot part of Marimar :D Anyway, the current was stronger in then so we had to be careful. I kid you not, fighting the current is tough. It will drag you unless you know how to handle it. good thing I had two experienced people with me. This time we had the camera so we took a lot of shots. I'll post them when I get back :) I'd describe them but sometimes, words just don't do justice.

We headed back to the resort and fixed our gear and had dinner which leads me to this moment. As of this moment, I'm typing on my uncles laptop on a table overlooking the beach. Its pitch black out there and all I can really see is the distant shining of dive boats as people indulge in night dives. I wish I was out there right now but I just don't have the experience. To my right, I see the distant flashes of light and I'm not sure whether its lighting or a signal light. I can hear my dad and uncle talking downstairs and I can hear the fan behind me as the American journalist works on his computer. It's really quiet here, nothing but the sound of the water hitting the rocks and other nature sounds. It's hard to believe that I live in a house in an urban jungle where sky scrapers out  number trees and people prefer riding cars to walking.

Well... unfortunately... It's getting late and I need to sleep. I have to wake up at 7 or so because we'll leave the resort at 8:30 for our next series of dives. I wish life was so simple that all I had to worry about was whether or not I'll be able to take fantastic shots with my camera tomorrow.  Ah well. The world isn't perfect. But it's the imperfections that make it all the more special.

God... now I know I really need to sleep. Poetic thinking and me do not go together D: Goodnight and pleasant dreams!

Wow, I finally got around to posting. I've been kinda busy lately so -shrug- Nothing much has been happening. Basically, I got to review class and swimming lessons on alternating days. Then I get tired and sleep most of the time or I do errands and other tasks. That's basically how my summer is going. Oh, can't forget the family reunions etc etc. I actually just came home from one just now. By the way,

HAPPY MOTHERS DAY!
May all mothers be blessed today and all the days of the year.

So I also wanted to post about the new Star Trek movie. I just have one thing to say.... SO FREAKING AWESOME. I love Star Trek to bits and I really enjoyed the film. I won't post the details of the film (so don't worry about spoilers!) but I'd like to say that I strongly encourage everyone to watch it. Great graphics, cool story (even if different), and awesome actors. SPOCK <3 He's like my favorite character in the series. :D I love how in his Vulcan mind not a lot of things about humans make sense. I will forever remember this line... "My name is Captain James T. Kirk of the Starship Enterprise" <3 Sorry for the random rant but I'm a Trekkie :D I don't remember all the intimate details but I remember some parts of the series.

Anyway, just wanted to say that it is awesome and should be watched. Goodness knows Wolverine was a letdown after watching Star Trek (I know because I watched both movie one after the other) In fact... I will probably watch Star Trek again with my mom in a weeks time. :D So.... go boldly where no one has gone before! :D This movie can be watched by everyone even if you aren't a Trekkie.

Third year is finally over and I'm a little sad... While this means that I'm finally a senior, it means saying goodbye to some really good friends. It seemed like just yesterday that I entered high school, ready to take the world on (or at least the work load) I met really great people and I've learned to say goodbye to some others. Now unfortunately is another time to say goodbye.

Chiara, I know we did not get along at all in grade school but we managed to become friends in high school. It was always fun with you around because of all the gago and random moments we have. I enjoyed the times we randomly slashed people and made random stories or sketches. It always feels like I'm hanging around with another cousin when I'm around you :) I fully expect you to pop around here unexpectedly :)) or when/if I go to Ateneo. Thank you for the slash BTW :D

Guia, thank you for making me laugh with your antics. It's always interesting around you because of your spontaneous personality along with your fun side. I love how talented you are and I'm sure that it will take you far along with your drive to succeed. I'm happy that you're comfortable around me and that we bond over the most random things. :) Love your art!

Sam, thank you for all the hugs (willingly and unwillingly) and also for how comfortable you make me. You're really nice and so random that I just can't help but laugh at the most random moments. I'm going to miss how understanding you are and your friendly smile. Did I mention that you have awesome cooking skills? Thank you again for the cookie for my birthday :) I think you are a great chef in the making!

Yama-chan, thanks for being a great friends (and fellow slash lover) You have the funniest sense of logic ever. :) You either manage to convolute it in a logical way, find a new angle approach it from or make it incredibly funny. I'll forever remember the Mathein Musical we did last year with fondness. :D You're like cool family. :D I have faith that you will achieve whatever you set your mind to because you're one of the most driven people I know.

Lysa, YOU ARE SO SO SO AWESOME :D You're like the older sister I never had. You're always so kind and understanding and you help me out all the time. I'm going to miss your presence because you've always been there when I need you. :) I'm also so proud of everything you've done and I'm 100% sure that you will become great one day... actually you are great :) I'm happy for you... I really am! :D

Mikki , we also didn't get along well in the beginning but we became friends somehow :D I'm happy that we did because you are such an awesome friend. I love how funny and quirky you are and how we argue on who is the bigger Ryo fan :)) You make me smile all the time because you are always you :)) Your singing voice is really pretty... sayang you weren't able to join Chorale... I think you would have loved it. :D I look forward to seeing what you'll do in the future because I know you'll do it with a bang. :D

Lum-Lum, I'll miss your funny quirky self :D You always make me laugh because you make everything so funny... even if it's in a sarcastic way. :D I remember all our gago moments especially last year as we were in the same club (In my memory :D) Thanks for being an awesome friend and for being there to listen to me and make me laugh when I'm down.

Rei-Rei, I have to admit that I used to be scared of you but after I got to know you, we became fast friends. :D You always make me laugh (especially how you picked on Chiara) I love also how you can act and stuff (I saw you before and you were good) Thanks for making me comfortable and for making me laugh when I'm down. :D I look forward to what you'll achieve in the future!

Denise, thanks for being a great friend :D I love how you are always so happy and cheerful. I'm also really impressed at how well you dance. I will always fondly remember that time we went to Chiara's house for her birthday and you guys danced the... song whose title I cannot remember. :D Then I got dragged in because you needed a Mukku and Gachapin (Hope I spelled that right) I'll miss your sense of humor and bubbly self.

Ria, I'll miss your fun and huggable self. :D I'm glad to have met a person like you because not only are you fun, you're likable. :D You never fail to make me laugh with just a statement or with a single observation. Thanks for listening to me even when I sound so weird. :D

Sheliz, I don't know if you have an LJ but I'm going to miss your quirky self. :)) Even if I make fun of you by calling you Sheliz the Disease, you're one of my most fun friends. You act well and you are so sexy darling :)) I really love how you are always true to yourself no matter what you do and that you do what you want no matter what others say. I hope you never lose that quality :D Remain the bubbly person you are and make people smile by being yourself.

To all the seniors of 08-09, thank you for everything and I LOVE ALL OF YOU :D GOD BLESS AND MAY YOU ACHIEVE EVERYTHING YOU SET YOUR MIND TO! I'm going to miss all of you and I dearly hope that we will see each other again in the near future! :D Remember if you ever need anything, you can call/text/IM me whenever. I'll try to help as best as I can. :D I can't do much but for now... I'll send you of with a smile.

CONGRATULATIONS TO SENIORS
OF BATCH 08-09!!!

Haha, now that Term Exams are over, I'm free to post again. :D Yay. I'm going to give a short summary of how my TE week went because it's ridiculous and strange.

Literature and Grammar: Overslept the day before and had to seriously cram. The Lit test was confusing and Grammar gave me hand cramps. Thanks a lot sir. D:

Filipino and Social Studies: A lot of what was in the Filipino test was not in the pointers. Social Studies.... burned my brain literally. D:

Math: The one test I kind of get despite my... urgh.... tendency to procrastinate.

Chemistry and CLE: No one finished the Chemistry test (I think) It was enough to completely melt my brain. CLE was okay but due to Chemistry, I couldn't think properly D:

Anyway, after that, I went to my aunts house and met with a designer so I could have my prom dress done already. Yes, I am preparing carefully (even if all of you know I'm not that fond of parties) because I want to look decent. As for a date... let's say that it's a work in progress.

I know this may sound really random but I need to rant. Last Sunday, while we were having a party at my house for my brother's birthday, I found out something from my cousin that made me completely furious on his behalf. I'll start at the beginning. A couple months ago, I asked my cousin who was he taking to prom and he told me he wanted to ask this girl from MC. He said that the girl told him that she had already said no to two or three other guys who already asked her. The only way I could make sense of the situation is to come to the conclusion that the girl wanted my cousin to ask her out. I mean... why else would you tell that? Unless you're really close friends but I don't think that was the case here. So I told him to go for it.

When I asked him about it last sunday, the first thing he says is "I don't want to talk about it". I realized there was something wrong so I bugged him about it and eventually drew out the story. He said that he asked the girl if he could meet her or something. She agreed and my cousin went to MC on a school day to see her. On top of that, he baked cupcakes (which I have to say are really good because they gave me some a while ago :D ... not the same cupcakes my male cousin made mind you) and he planned to give it to her and ask her to prom.

Guess what? She stood him up.

From what I understood, sher just sent a message saying she had to go because it was her birthday and she needed to do something. But my cousin was already there and he waited for an hour. I asked him if she's contacted him and my cousin said that she's IMed and texted but he hasn't replied. I spent the rest of the time trying to make him feel better... then I found out that this was the SECOND TIME that she stood him up. God if I could wring my hands around her neck.... D:<

I think I managed to cheer him up a bit because he was kind of back to his usual cocky self. >o> But that's okay. I'd rayther he be cocky than mope. I told him the girl wasn't worth it and to maybe find someone else to ask. I hope he's better now. I didn't see him kanina because he got home late but I asked my tita and she said he was okay-ish.

Okay, done ranting. Sorry for that. :<

Hello, I finally have the time (and energy) to post. The last couple of weeks have been jam-packed with projects, tests, quizzes and any other type of torture the school can think up off. Urgh. So I'll probably just go over the important stuff here.

First up, I took a trip to Hong Kong with just my brother. It was kinda fun yet scary. Until now, I didn't really realize how expensive our airport is. We are required to pay a travel tax and also an airport terminal fee which isn't practiced in other countries. Makes you wonder just where the money goes and why the hell we have to pay it. I think that it's probably to pay debts or something.

I saw my aunt and her new apartment which was really cool. She lives in a really nice place with impressive accomodations. We went to different places though like Ocean Park and Victoria Peak. I'm also highly amused at how impressive the Halloween Celebrations and decorations are. People were in costume everywhere in Ocean Park.

Next, I finally got myself an R4. :D Well, okay it isn't really an R4 (because apparently that's a brand) but that what I call it so -shrug- I downloaded games like crazy and I'm pleased that I got my hands on Rhapsody. That game was my favorite game when I was younger. It really makes me laugh at how amusing yet interesting the game is (even if I know the ending and have played it several times)

Aaaand last big new I think, please pray for my friend. She was recently admitted into the hospital. It isn't serious but all prayers count. :D

Okay, now I'm off to do some Rhapsody before having to finish a task my dad set me. Haha.

OH. LAST LAST NOTE:
HAPPY BIRTHDAY DAD!
May you have many more birthdays and blessings!

Hello again, sorry I need to VENT D: Sorry, let me explain. I was reading in class (bad, I know but that's what I do to keep from falling asleep) and she saw me then took the fanfic. I was horrified because of this certain scene containing... well... that. I'm worried it might be a case against me if she reads it (which I know she will). I'm not sure if it's a case. Would it be in this situation? HELP PLEASE D: The part I'm referring to is like... 16 sentences long (Yes I counted it) but it outright says the part of the anatomy. D: HELP.

Besides my newest dilema, school is okay. Projects are beginning to wind down but people still show the wear and the tear it's having on them. Chemistry due tom and Literatures on Monday... so GAH. I'm off to fret and munch now. D:

First post in seven weeks D: Sorry, projects keep piling up, there's more homework now than last year and integration week has thrown us all for a loop. Thanks teachers, we just love having to scramble around like hamsters. D: Anyway, the end is in sight and the projects are winding to a close (HALLELUJIAH) It's just funny though that I still find time to read some manga and watch some anime but not post in my LJ :'O Ah well, hopefully that will change.

Last projects to finish is Chem and Guidance. Why guidance has a project, we will never understand but as the culminating session for the integration week approaches, I'm getting more excited :D Wala lang. Urgh, just remembered I overheard my (not trying to be quiet) classmates talking about bases. I mean those kinds of bases. D: Apparently, my classmate has been experimenting. My ffirend says people think she's lying but it's still disturbing. I hope it isn't real. D: (I will die if I hear my other classmates-who is dating my cousin-talking about bases EWW)

Quick reinteration of my day... well not really reiteration but thoughts on todays subjects.

I love Mrs Bitancor and her Filipino class. Chemistry is cool under Ms De la Cruz. Sir Jheff makes Social so so funny. Learning Center.... yes, I know how to play badminton (and I'm ruining my tennis also). HAPPY BIRTHDAY MRS VALENCIA~! We love you :D CLE is okay... a little dragging though.

Oh, tomorrow we have assembly and I think Chorale has to perfom :/ Please cheer for us (and try not to laugh) Plus, retreat will be coming soon (I think) so please write me a palanca! :D I'll be sure to write one for you but you have to tell me when. :D

For recent pictures and other events, please check out my multiply under the same name but without the space :D Thanks!

Gah, this might be my last post until next week. I have projects I need to finish by this weekend already. D: GARH. Then I have parties I have to attend etc, etc. HURR.

Nothing interesting happened today... just the usual school crap. Filipino was a disaster, Chemistry was boring (and we had two periods of it), Math was okay, Social was interesting and Homeroom was utter crack time. We had our first ... extended meeting for Chorale because we were cut short the last time to watch Romeo and Juliet. We introduced ourselves then we started planning for Reco. This is the recollection the chorale members go on every year. This time, it'll be in Laguna and for three days at that. :D The Soprano 2's (our group) are assigned to breakfast duty. We have to prepare for all 31 members (also assuming that the former Alumni will be there) and for two days.

We were also given 3 pieces that we'll have to learn for the Songfest. It's a daunting task but I think we can do it with enough practice :'P
The blending is coming along nicely and everyone really cooperates. :D

My tita is coming for the weekend from HK today so I'll stay up and wait for her. I'll do my homework though so I have less to do the next few days. I hope she'll remember to bring back my book D: It's been with her since.... summer I think. GAH.

Anyway, I have to go back to Chem now. D: Last thing, please check out the journal of [info]hiimdaisy. The comics range from some Pokemon, Legend of Zelda and Phoenix Wright. <3 It's really funny and I think I busted a lung reading it. :D

Hello ducklings :D Kari here again. WHOOT I'M POSTING. LOLZ. I was supposed to post yesterday but due to my homework pilling up, I could not. D: I slept late because of it stupid homework

Anyway, today was another slowish day. We had classes as usual, in their usual fashion. Filipino was moar Noli Me Tangere. Chemistry was cramming taym because we missed alot of classes. Literature was talking about the Renaissance then the Passionate Shepherd to His Love and the Nymph's reply. We had double period math with section four (HI SARA AND BEAP) and then had a quiz. Social was spent talking about Jean D'Arc or Joan of Arc and the Dauphin. Can I just share? :D

I LOVE JOAN OF ARC.
COOLEST PERSON EVER.
kahedwgauhrqugtw8ughwutbwu9.

Okay, fangirl moment over. (I HAVE THE GAME)

Ahem.

Anyway, we had Grammar I slept through most of the period even though I sit in front. and then we had CLE. We started watching some CSI episode in relation to conscience. What was kinda cool was that it rained hard and people were hoping that there would be no classes. Bad News: Because of the rain, I couldn't go home immediately because of the flood in our area and had to stay in Cash and Carry Mall while waiting for the waters to receed. I only got home.... an hour ago? D: Good thing I have almost no homework tonight.

More bad news, my groupmate LOST OUR GROUPWORK WHICH WE MUST DO AGAIN AND WHICH MUST BE PRESENTED TOMORROW MORNING. I love my friend really but it's a freaking filipino poem which we slaved to make! D: I don't know if our groupmates know what happened and I hesitate to tell them. Godammit. D: -takes deep breaths-

Last thing for tonight, as requested by [info]volley I'm reposting a meme. :D

Tell me a series(that I know) and I shall respond with my...
1. "One True Pairing" Ship:
2. Favorite "canon" (if the above isn't) Ship:
3. "If this happens I'll stab my eyes out because I obviously take fiction too seriously" Ship:
4. "You are one sick bastard" Ship:
5. "I dabble a little" Ship:
6. "It's like a train wreck" Ship:

It's been 16 weeks since I've last touched my LJ. I've been meaning to post but I keep being lazy then school popped out so -shrug- Hello to all my friends! :D I bet you thought this account was dead. Natt. :)) I'm back and hopefully will keep posting regularly. Well, as regularly as my schedule allows. I just have to share but it's really funny how I got back to LJ. I was browsing on google for some Katamari layout for my multiply and I suddenly saw one labeled "Just a Little Simplicity" with stuff under. I clicked on it and it popped to LJ. I stared at it and I thought "God, this looks familiar. I've seen this drawing before..." Then I looked at the username and lo and behold! It was Sara's. LOL.  I spent a good couple of minutes laughing. Thus how I am once again drawn back into the world of LJ. Thanks Sar! :D

So, quick update on what's been going on. I'm thrid year (durhz) in AC and I'm surprised by our workload this year. It's a little tough and leaves me less time to browse the net but -shrug- I need to do my best this year! I want to get into a university in the states :D My cousins Iya and Bri are here, if you already don't know. My aunt is coming from Hong Kong next week for the week end. Oh, also my brother and I will go to Hong Kong during these days we have no school. Lol. I will keeeeeeel him if the idiot runs off. D: -grabs rope!- Oh, I got into Chroale after finally working up the courage. :D I'm so pleased with myself. When I found out I got in, all I could do was grin stupidly for the next 30 minutes. I'm not lying, ask my friends and they will attest to that. Hurr... what else to share... oh yeah. My drivers mom died so he went back to the province. I offer prayers for their family for the loss they suffered and may the soul of his mother find peace.

Shelby, my very special and fat lovely specimen of a turtle, almost died. I think. D: He had some fungus growing on his back and my cousins thought he was dying. I really have no idea but he is a dirty turtle. I should take a picture sometime and post it here. I swear he's bulging out of his shell. Lets see... oh last note. I was practicing all weekend for the welcome Minoh thing tomorrow. I'm going to sing along with the rest of chorale to welcome our guests. I'm a little nervous because it's in tagalog. D: Grrr. Must practice MOAR.

Yes, I am alive. :D It's hard to believe that its already been six weeks since the last post. The main reason for my lack of updates is my tinkering with my laptop. I keep updating stuff and fixing things on this thing that I've had no time to post so GOMEN. -bows- So....  let me make a short recap... maybe not short... but a recap none the less of whats been happening so far.

For the last day of classes, I went out with my friends. We went to Shangrila mall and stayed there for quite a while. A couple of my friends slept over at the hotel but I wasn't allowed because my dad said there really isn't no parental supervision. My friends parents made the reservation and checked us in but they didn't stay the night. They said next time they'll be there para I'm allowed. :D The Lazaro's are nice people. After that, it's been tennis and golf. I play tennis three times a week and golf at least twice a week. I have about... two free days but thats okay. The strain on my hands and arms is a little hard to deal with after all. D:

Another friend of mine had a sleepover at her house and we basically just goofed off. A little bit of swimming, Wii, and good old staying up late and pigging out and yeah it was great. I had to leave absurdly early but thats alright. I'm happy I was able to go. :D Then more golf and tennis. You get the drill.

This week is my first free week. When I say that, I mean that I have no activities so far. Tennis has been postponed because the court I play at in being repaired or something. Golf is still on Friday because my coach is out of town. I was actually looking forward to Friday because I would be practicing to play with my cousins, uncles, dad and brother on Monday. However, it is apparently a holiday. Well, the holiday is April 9 but GMA moved it to Monday, according to my dad. I guess it's to extend the weekend. So, I can't play Monday sadly. "The Great Lim Face-off" (as my dad calls it) will be next next Monday. I'm probably going to be creamed but it's okay. I just wanna have fun (plus eat the great food we often indulge in after a round of golf)

I'm basically being bored to death. >o>

Last news is the Ozinefest on Saturday and Sunday :D I'm really looking forward to it. I'm going with the usual sempai-tachi and friends. I'm also bringing along one of my barkada mates. Hope you enjoy it Angel! :D Another one of my friends is going too. She's going to move to Canada at the end of the summer and told me she'd love to go cosplay at a con before she leaves. Of course, I agreed :D Now I'm going in costume. Yes, Yes I am. Haha, it's really funny that I'm going to go as a Jedi to an con mostly involved with anime. It's alright because I love STAR WARS. :P Best movies eveeeerrrr.

Anyway, my costume isn't done but hopefully it'll be ready soon. My friend plans to convert one of our old uniforms to a Emma Ai's uniform. While I'm not sure it is possible, I have faith it'll come out looking like the actually outfit... I hope.

My head is beginning to throb and here I am doing grammar homework.

Oh Joy. Pure unadulterated joy.

Gah, stupid cold. I wish it would go away. My forehead is starting to get a little warm. Please don't let me be sick! D: I can't miss class. D: I don't think I can handle missing lessons anymore. D:

I'm starting to get dizzy. I think I'll go to bed now. D:

Haha. I managed to post again. I was slightly worried cuz I might get lazy to update after having no time yesterdya yet here I am. :D Go me!

We had shortened periods today because we had to watch the play, The Miracle Worker after classes. It was brain rape Biology early in the morning with Cell Division. It wasn't as bad as usual because it was really kind of interesting. We talked about Stem Cells and a little bit of Cloning. After that was Filipino which was really sabog, I swear. Mrs Yenko talked about the movie we watched the other day. It was called "Bagong Buwan" and was about the Christian-Muslim conflict in the Philippines. We sadly didn't get to finish because the movie was long. So, Mrs Yenko talked more about it during class and then we had group work. I think we're supposed to prepare a sort of presentation but I think we'll make it up as we go. :D

Instead of recess first, we had CLE. D: I mean ew, three periods in the morning. We even had a quiz about the liturgical calendar. So what if I can't calculate it? I'm hopeless I swear. So I know I failed. :D Then we had recess and then another period of CLE. Usually we're double period CLE on wednesdays after recess but gah, having it before and after recess was weird. The next period, she talked more about the liturgical calendar and our mistakes. She even had this mini-lecture on morals and stuff that was kind of cool in a creepy kind of way.

Math was the next period. I discovered how PATHETIC I can be at math. I mean, I lost points because I forgot that negative numbers are lesser in value than positive numbers. Plus, I missed out on a negative sign in one number but I was on the right track. I'm so freaking disappointed in myself. I need to focus more. D: Sir Hero dismissed us early and we had time to kill to change for PE. I wasn't sure how we'd do it because usually PE is double period after lunch. Turns out, we had PE for two period straight and lunch after. Volleyball is so not my sport. I can freaking injure myself. Yes, I dream of becoming black and blue. Thanks alot, Sir Alan. The only redeeming fact is that I can serve and that's it. D:

Social was our last period and we continued this game we were playing. My group is tied with several groups and we are one point behind the top scorer. :D Then we watched the Helen Keller play and it was okay. The lead actress was really good and I kind of recognized her. Pala, she performed as the fiddler in the Fiddler on the Roof production of Repertory. I actually thought the violinist was male but it was actually a femal character. :D Congratulations to her!

Mmm, I'm going to go decorate my planner now and then go watch American Idol. It's really funny the way people act during the auditions. I think this time it's in Nebraska. :D So, you guys go watch it!

Shit. I hate mondays. Don't ask, I just do. D: I swear we should all get an exended weekend or something. And to have BIO as our exam that day? Evvvviiiiilllll.

The good thing is, I got a new planner, so, GO ME! :D It's the really nice Go Nuts Donuts planner. I bought it from my classmate. Granted, it has some doodles on it but it's nothing serious. It's better than having none at all, considering the fact that it was out of stock everywhere. D: Wah. Thanks Mandy for selling it to me~!

We talked more about Julius Caesar and I am so freaking fascinated. Caesar rules (literally) There's something else that happened during that time but I wont say here. If you wanna know, IM me or text me :D recess was boring (boo) and them we watched video for Fil about Muslims and Christians. It's a nice movie really, except for it being in Tagalog. Sometimes I have to guess what the people are saying D: The teachers also gave us an activity sheet that we had to answer concerning the movie. Thank god I was paying attention! :D

Ms Nympha ditched us our Homeroom period so I spent the time decorating my planner and helping fix our CLE group work. it was like a visual map on the history of the Church. Pat is totally awesome! She and Charlie are the greatest/best drawers in out class. :D Yay. CHARLIE SKETCH ME SOMETHING FOR MY BIRTHDAY. :D Advanced warning dear. Lunch was spent... trying to review for Bio but failing miserably. The other section said it was mostly Gylcolysis and Photosynthesis. D: I can't believe I wasted my whole sunday studying the other stuff. Booo. When we took the test, it was easy. Except for the analogy for ATP transfer and stuff. I did not like that.

Math was review time for the exam tomorrow (which I have to review later before bed :<) The test seems pretty easy but I swear my signs kill me. Stupid signs. I also write numbers that aren't even in the equation. Uh, 2x+y+3z=28 becomes 3x+y+3z=28 without even me noticing. I'm scccrreeeeeeewwwweeed. D: Pray for me please. During CLE, we just got our scores. Mine was okay but I can't calculate the liturgical calendar to save my life. D:

Hmmm. I better go study now. I want to sleep early for once thank you very much. Hopefully I get to post tomorrow.

This has to be a record. I've posted two consecutive days. -poses- Lucky! (I was watching the Sengoku-Momo match the other day >_>)

Let's seeee.... first of, I need to correct something. My tito's birthday is today not yesterday so, again my best wishes! :D We went over and had lunch/dinner. It was really awesome. I love it when my tito cooks because it's so damn good. He can seriously be a chef or something. Yay. Bad thing is that I had to study for Bio there. Ewww. D: The fact that I managed to actually retain something is weird, I'm still in a state of mild shock. :<

Gah. Monday again tomorrow. Did I mention I hate monday's? Almost as much as I hate Thursdays. Evil days I swear. D: Brain rape Bio tomorrow along with graded recitation in Social with Ms Baylon. Yay. D: I'd rather get stomped on by a herd of hippogriffs, thank you very much. Gah. I forgot to make notecards for tomorrow. D: DOOM. Maybe I wont listen/answer na lang. Haha, as if I can slack off. Ms Baylon will look for my participation -curses the air blue-

I still can't solve this damned rubrix cube. It's mocking me. I'm close to stabbing it into oblivion. D:

Oh yeah, JURASSIC PARK IS LOVE. I'm going to look for all the movies and have myself a marathon. Yay man-eating dinosaurs! :D I also saw this show on stalkers and how this law maker in california is really against it and stuff. She gave sample cases that were really freaky. Like, there's this guy who stalked Spielberg. He staked out the house, he made whacko plans and nearly rammed the gate down with his car. In his diary, it was discovered he planned to rape and kill the film director. I dunno about you but that's gross. Majorly gross. D: Another case was a woman suffering domestic abuse who left her husband. She was stalked by her husband and eventually, just after she filed for divorce (and was free) she was brutally murdered. She was on a highway and her ex husband (at this point) rammed into her car. He got out, said to her "You bitch" and stabbed her to death. There's also a case of a cyberstalker of this hollywood actress. Gack. Creepy, yes.

Besides those, the weekend was pretty routine. I better go study a bit more bio before going to bed. I want to pass the exam after all. Ja! :D

Yes it is I. I have not turned into a mushroom or succumbed to the Draught of Living Death. (Harry Potter thing, sorry couldn't resist) I've just been so busy lately I've barely had time to sleep let alone go online and post something. It was UT (unit test) week last week and it was hell. Adding to projects, reading assignments, cranky teachers, stupid essays and boring classes, and you have hell. Boring and annoying hell.

Nothing interesting happened. I'm still avoiding the One Who Grates On My Nerves. It's more bearable thankfully. Something has unsettled me but I really don't think I should talk about it here on my journal D: Hope it all works out for the best. Oh, Bio exam on Monday. Absolute Joy. There is nothing I love better than Glycolysis, Krebs Cycle, Pyruvic Acid Oxidation, Fermentation, and Cell Transport Systems D:

Oh I just remembered now. We did a disgusting experiment in Bio Lab involving identifying the presence of bacteria in (Months old) milk D: I swear the spoiled milk looked like FAT after we boiled it. Ewww. Thank God it wasn't directly before lunch or I might have not eaten.

My birthday is coming up in March and I'm turning 16! :D I plan to have a party here at my house. Nothing special really, just a get together with friends to eat. I think we're including the PSP party also here. Haha. So you guys, bring your PSP, okay? It will just be a lunch thing. I'll give the final word in a couple of days or weeks. Speaking of parties, congrats to my junior friends! :D It's their prom next weekend. I hope that you guys enjoy it! (Someone take pictures and give it to me, hehe) By the way, Chiara you still owe me pictures of your birthday party :D AND THE BURNED CD. D:

Oh and Happy Happy Happy Birthday Tito Reuben! :D

Gack. I think that's it for now. I got to go and study for my bio exam. I have to go to my tito's house tomorrow so there won't be any time. Bye for now! :D

Yay. The dreaded, hated and blasted exams are over. Still... curse you Florante at Laura with your unnecessary moaning and angsting (I blame everything on Florante. It's all his fault) Curse you Biology and your mind numbing exams! D: At least, those were the last exams and stuff. The good thing today is that I got to golf with my dad. Yay <3

We got to the driving range about 12:00. Tito Boy, my coach, was helping my refine my game and my dad was practicing his own strokes. I managed to learn how to flick my wrists in such a way that the ball would curve and fly farther. Thanks to my awesome teacher, I managed to hit about 170-180 yards with my driver (War Bird) I hit about 10 consistent shots that left my dad and tito quite surprised. :D While we were practicing, there was also a weird friendly competition going on between the caddies and some of the pros. There was this Korean guy who apparently was offering a cash prize for whoever can pitch the ball from down the practice slope to the hole on the green. I think he offered 1000 or so. I was a little surprised but my caddie told me that he was a frequent guest there and he does play golf. He's nice to all the caddies and especially favors the ones who play well. By the way she talked, it seemed like this happened alot. I asked if the guy had kids or something to spoil but she said no, and that the caddies are like his "children" or something. Creepy but okay, whatever. It's just another rich Korean guy who probably has nothing to do and enjoys watching people compete.

I ignored them after that and just kept practicing. Later, we left and went to park square to change the grip of my 3, 5 and 7 woods because it was too hard to hit already. We ate at Wendy's (the buger is actually pretty good) before picking up my clubs and going to another store to check out some clubs and sun glasses. We left much later and I drifted off to sleep. I don't really remember what happened but when I woke up, we were home. I was supposed to shower but I kind of drifted to sleep on the couch. >_< I woke up at 7:00 or so and had something quick to eat. I even managed to help my brother with his report on the digestive system. Now... it's nearly 9:30 and I'm struggling to keep awake. My arms feel like lead, I'm light headed and I'm having a hard time focusing. Eeep. Sign to go to bed already. Oh, I better get my mom to write a letter to excuse me from PE. I'm having cramps also D:

Gaaah. I swear if I have nothing better to do to work on th Hero con post na tomorrow D: No homework please.
